This feature is available for only 1stream Core licensed users and higher plans. If you don't have this and would like this feature to be available, please reach out to your Sales Representative to upgrade user licensing.

 

Use Case

The 1stream Integrated SMS system allows you to send and receive SMS messages, including ticket creation on inbound messages and advanced notification options for unanswered or keyword messages. For messages that create tickets, the rest of the conversation gets copied into the ticket, including any MMS image attachments.

In addition, some portions of 1stream such as the PIN Verification Tool send out SMS communications, and you can leverage an external provider if you don't want to use the bvoip default numbers.

Do note that by configuring an SMS provider, additional consumption-based charges may apply and you should review your provider's billing statement.

SMS Providers can be setup under the Connected Accounts and CRM Settings section, with each provider prefaced with SMS.
