How the blacklist works
A number being on the blacklist will prevent all outbound messages to that number, with an accompanying user-facing error, while also blocking all inbound texts from that number as well.
For compliance purposes, callers can place themselves on the blacklist by simply texting in the word STOP, and they can remove themselves from the blacklist with the word START.
Otherwise, you can manually place numbers on the blacklist, or remove them, by following the steps below.
Manage the blacklist
- Login to the 1stream Admin Portal
- Go to Administration > Manage SMS Blacklisted Numbers
- Click the Plus sign in the top left to add a number to the blacklist, OR click the red X to the right of a number to delete it from the list.
