Is Reprovisioning Phones Possible?
If you are looking to reuse, repurpose or reprovision a phone, you can! In most cases, we can reuse a phone that was used previously. To reuse the phone, a full factory reset will need to be done so that the phone can be provisioned as a new phone into the bvoip phone system.
Common Reprovisioning Issues
If there are phones that are already in your possession and you wish to utilize those phones, we recommend ensuring that the devices are reviewed for the following potential issues:
Incompatible Phone
The easiest way to know if the desired phone is incompatible is to check it against our Phones and Equipment page. This page will breakdown if a phone is compatible as well as the level support to be expected with it.
Phone Set to Previous Provider
Any phone can be set to any provider in most cases. However, in some cases, a phone can be hard provisioned to a provider where a full factory reset will not allow for the phone to work with other providers. In cases like this, you will need to purchase new phones to provision.
Reprovisioning Not an Option?
