Randomizing Music on Hold

Why Randomize Music On Hold?

If you have multiple audio files for hold music, you can elect to have a randomizer to change up which audio file plays.

If you have multiple audio files for hold music, a playlist can be created to continue playing the audio files in a desired shuffle pattern or loop. For information on this, please see the Creating Music on Hold Playlists article. 

Randomizing Music on Hold 

  1. Login to the bvoip phone system.
  2. Click on the Dashboard drop-down menu.

  3. Go to the Settings subsection.
  4. Select the Music on Hold icon.

  5. Scroll down to the Randomize Playback section.
  6. Click on the box next to Randomize Playback.
  7. Select from the drop down below the text on whether you would like to randomize on a per call or per day basis. 
  8. Click on the Save button at the top of the page.
