Why Randomize Music On Hold?
If you have multiple audio files for hold music, you can elect to have a randomizer to change up which audio file plays.
If you have multiple audio files for hold music, a playlist can be created to continue playing the audio files in a desired shuffle pattern or loop. For information on this, please see the Creating Music on Hold Playlists article.
Randomizing Music on Hold
- Login to the bvoip phone system.
- Click on the Dashboard drop-down menu.
- Go to the Settings subsection.
- Select the Music on Hold icon.
- Scroll down to the Randomize Playback section.
- Click on the box next to Randomize Playback.
- Select from the drop down below the text on whether you would like to randomize on a per call or per day basis.
- Click on the Save button at the top of the page.
