The ConnectWise integrations with bvoip's 1stream platform can provide errors that can be resolved by a few common checkpoints.

1stream View Required

1stream View Required

This feature is available for only 1stream View licensed users and higher plans. If you don't have this and would like this feature to be available, please reach out to your Sales Representative to upgrade user licensing.

API Member - Full Access

The first step in troubleshooting is to try granting the API Member the Admin security role which will give it full access, to ensure there isn't a permission missing.

Warning

This is not a permanent fix, please ensure your API Member is using the minimum permissions according to ConnectWise Security Role Permissions

API Keys Correct

When it comes to the API keys, one of two things can happen, the API keys can be incorrect or just invalid. To correct this, we recommend creating and applying a new API key set into the appropriate API Key fields.

Ensure you are making the API Keys under an API Member dedicated to 1stream, not via your personal API keys menu.

URLs Missing Forward Slashes

When adding in the URLs for connecting 1stream to ConnectWise, make sure that the URLs have forward slashes or they will not work.

URLs Correct

When adding in the URLs, ensure that you are suing the correct URLs in the correct fields. If you are using the cloud-based version of ConnectWise, make sure that you have the following URLs in the correct fields :

  • In the CRM Details Link field, the following URL should be set to https://na.myconnectwise.net/
  • In the Endpoint URL field, the following URL should be set to https://api-na.myconnectwise.net/v4_6_release/apis/3.0/

If you are using a custom ConnectWise URL, ensure that the URL that you are using is correct and ensure that the in fields specified above, that your custom domain is in a similar format to the cloud-based URLs. If you need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to your Implementation Specialist or bvoip support.

Company Name Correct

When setting up the ConnectWise connection, there is a field for the company name. This field must be filled out with the company name used to log into your ConnectWise instance. The company name must be filled out exactly in 1stream as it is seen on your ConnectWise login screen.
