Setting up the 1stream Application for Teams

This article will provide a walkthrough on adding the 1stream application into Teams.

This feature is available for only 1stream View licensed users and higher plans. If you don't have this and would like this feature to be available, please reach out to your Sales Representative to upgrade user licensing.

 

Once this application has been added, you can use the 1stream application to use simultaneously to update tickets on your Teams based calls, or access the 1stream system easily from any device that has Teams on it.

Retrieving the 1stream Application

The 1stream SSO application can be downloaded from the downloads screen in the 1stream portal.

  1. Log into the 1stream Portal. 
  2. Go to Administration

  3. Select the Downloads option from the drop-down menu. The Downloads page will appear.

  4. Scroll down to Download MS Teams Package.

  5. Click on the Title to download the zip file. 

Integrating Teams into 1stream

  1. Go to Microsoft Admin Center.
  2. Select the Teams section. The page will refresh.
  3. Go to the Team Apps section.

  4. Select the Manage Apps option. 
  5. Click on the Upload button. The Upload Custom App pop-up will appear.

  6. Click the Select a File button. 
  7. Select the 1stream package downloaded above. 
  8. Go to Apps.

  9. Locate and click on 1stream.

  11. Once added, close your Teams application entirely.
  12. Re-open your Teams application.
  13. 1stream should now be added successfully.

The application will then allow the user to SSO into 1stream, and access all their integration, call, and messaging data right within Teams.
