Using the UniConsole Application

This article will provide a walkthrough for the uses of the UniConsole application within Teams.

Why UniConsole?

UniConsole is a bvoip derived application made just for teams that helps bring the bvoip experience into Teams. The UniConsole application is ideal for those whom want the ability to see Teams users and Softphone users in addition to using BLF keys. 

Don't Have UniConsole in Teams?

UniConsole Dashboard

The UniConsole Dashboard tab comes with a dialpad in addition to the ability of being able to view live calls on the system, similar to the Panel tab in the WebClient based softphone. Extension set BLF keys and the extensions from your organization will be displayed for use and dialing.

UniConsole Extension

The UniConsole Extension tab comes with the same extension setting screen setup shown within Control under the Extensions menu. This allows extension users to setup their own settings for their extension.

UniConsole Call History

The UniConsole Call History tab will reflect an extension user's call history, complete with a reload button to refresh data when needed.

UniConsole Contacts

The UniConsole Contacts tab will reflect the extension user's contacts that were saved within the Microsoft tenant. A reload button is also there for refreshing data when needed.

UniConsole Voicemail

The UniConsole Voicemail tab will reflect the extension user's voicemail files and will allow for them to be downloaded.

The UniConsole Recordings tab will allow extension users to access their own call recordings.

UniConsole History

The UniConsole History tab has three subtabs, which allow for logs to be reviewed for the phone system, which is not offered by Microsoft.

The UniConsole About tab allows for users to be able to see the application description and details as shown in the Microsoft Marketplace.
