Conversion Process for Pre-existing SIPTrunk Accounts

Learn how to smoothly convert your pre-existing SIP trunk accounts to ensure a smooth transition.

If you are an existing SIPTrunk.com client moving over to bvoip or are moving a client who already has a SIPTrunk.com account, these accounts can be moved over under the the bvoip reseller umbrella. 

My Client Already Has a SIPTrunk.com Account

If your client already has a SIPTrunk.com account, you will need to add them under your reseller account as a customer as shown in here. Once done, email support@siptrunk.com and let them know that this client needs to move their trunk and account under your reseller. 

When reaching out to SIPTrunk.com, you will need to provide the following: 

  • Account Numbers for the New and Old Account
  • Company Names on New and Old Account
  • Main Contact on New and Old Account

The SIPTrunk.com team will then move the accounts over. Bear in mind, that some situations may require additional details or items needed to complete the process. 

I Already Have an Existing SIPTrunk Account

If you already have an existing SIPTrunk account, you will need to sign-up for a bvoip based SIPTrunk.com account. Once done, email support@siptrunk.com and let them know that you are needing to move your trunks between accounts. You will need to expect to provide the following: 

  • Account Numbers for the New and Old Account
  • Company Names on New and Old Account
  • Main Contact on New and Old Account

How Long Does It Take?

SIPTrunk.com is pretty quick with moving these accounts over. It usually will take a day or so, but can also be planned ahead for as well to prevent any cutover issues.
