How do you purchase your licensing?
How you access your customers depends on how you purchase licensing, as partners who order through a Distribution partner have their customers in their own dedicated portals.
Direct Partner
For Direct Partners, customers are structured in a flat arrangement, with all phone systems belonging to your reseller.
This means that each phone system is directly under your portal, and customers can simply be accessed via the Home > Dashboard menu.
ℹ️ What if I need access to 1Stream or the soft phone?
You can impersonate users in order to gain access to the soft phone or 1Stream admin/client as their user. See our guide Impersonating an End User for more information on this.
Channel/Distribution Platform
For partners using a Distributor, you'll find that each of your customers gets their own “layer” of the portal, which is nested under your reseller. For all intents they are a “reseller” themselves, and can have multiple phone systems and their own SSO application and branding.
Phone System Management
If you're just looking to manage the phone system settings itself, that's available in the single pane of glass view.
Simply login to the Control portal and access any of the systems on the Home > Dashboard page.
Customer Portal Management
To manage the customer's layer of the portal, for things like SSO, branding, and shared permissions, you'll need to impersonate one of their Admin users
- Open your Control Portal by logging into the link specific to your company
- You can also get the Control link from Regional Login Links and enter your company ID (subdomain)
- Go to the System section on the left.
- Click on the Customers subsection.
- Click the blue eye icon on the far right for the customer you're working with.
- Go to the Users tab at the top of the screen. Locate a user who has Admin set to Yes.
- Click the middle Impersonation button. A new tab will open which will bring you into the client's Control Portal instance, and you can customize it accordingly from there.

ℹ️ What if there's no admin user?
If no admin user exists, you'll need to make one first using the Create User button to then impersonate it.
If the end customer does not want or should not have full Admin level access, you can create an account using a generic or non-existent email on your Microsoft 365 account and impersonate that.
1Stream/Soft Phone Impersonation
To access these you'll have to go one layer deeper and impersonate a specific end user extension. See our guide Impersonating an End User for more information on this.
