Call Parking
If a call needs to be parked and then picked up from another extension, the call can be parked in a Parking orbit and then picked up from another extension.
How a call is placed in park dictates how shared parking will be used.
If through set BLF Keys, the call must be parked and picked up through BLF Keys.
If through Dial Codes, the call must be parked and picked up through Dial Codes.
Desk Phone/Physical device
Parking a Call
While on an active call on a provisioned device, click on an open SP BLF Key. This will park the call in the selected Shared Parking spot.
Picking Up a Parked Call
Select the SP BLF Key where the call is parked from the provisioned device, and this will pick up the parked call.
Softphone
Parking a Call
While on an active call on a provisioned device, right click on the call from the Panel view of the softphone. Select Park. This will park the call on an available SP spot.
Picking Up a Parked Call
Right click on the call from the Panel view of the softphone. Select Unpark. This will unpark and allow you to answer the unparked call.
Mobile Device
Parking a Call
Go to Team and in the top click All, then go to BLF. Click on an open/green Parking Slot # entry to park an ongoing call
Picking Up a Parked Call
Go to Team and in the top click All, then go to BLF. Click on an occupied or yellow Parking Slot # entry to unpark the selected call.
