Repurposing User Extensions
As a best practice, we do not recommend replacing users on existing user extensions in the bvoip phone system due to issues that occur, especially if you're planning to utilize 1Stream. If an extension user is no longer needed, we recommend deleting the former extension. If you have a new user, we recommend that they get a new extension.
Making Changes
If you are needing to re-use an extension number, we recommend deleting the existing extension with the desired extension number and re-creating the extension with the correct information.
