Configuration Guide for the Phone System

This article will provide a walkthrough on the process for setting up the bvoip phone system.

Accessing Your bvoip Accounts

  1. Login to the bvoip Control Portal using the login credentials provided when your company first became a partner.
  2. Find the system in your Home > Dashboard screen that you'll be using, and click on either the name or icon on the far right

Each step below has a setup for the main items that our Onboarding Team goes over in the setup process, however you can find a more robust structured onboarding by opening the New Client Checklist.

You'll find the latest copy of the New Client Checklist under the Partners > Resources > New Partner Onboarding section of the portal.

Setup Process

  1. Setting up SIP Trunks
    ⚠️You'll need a SIP trunk in order to make or receive calls with bvoip, however most of the setup steps can be completed before you add this.
  2. Creating Call Extensions
  3. Provisioning Phones
  4. Setting up Ring Groups
  5. Setting up Call Queues
  6. Setting the IVR
  7. Setting Inbound Rules
  8. Setting Outbound Rules
  9. Setting up Emergency Service Numbers
  10. Setting Phone System Hours

Once the above steps are completed, you're all set up to use bvoip!
